Already making friends up north, Dakota Fanning was spotted chumming it up with “New Moon” co-star Rachelle Lefevre in Vancouver, Canada on Friday (May 8).

The pair, who brought Rachelle’s little sis along for the outing, ended up arriving at Blue Water Cafe for a cast members party being thrown at the local eatery.

More New Moon Vampire Action for Lefevre

ShockTillYouDrop caught up with Rachelle Lefevre during the premiere of Adam Mason's Blood River and talked about some new details on New Moon.

"The books are all from Bella's point of view," she told me. "So there are things in New Moon that get talked about and are referred to, but don't get described. Victoria spends all of New Moon trying to get to Bella. As a result, she fights werewolves and has encounters. They've basically tried to show more for the film. We want to keep the love triangle going, but we've kept more of the dark action, vampire-y stuff to keep those fans happy."

Lefevre added she'll be heading up to Vancouver in mid-April and is "stoked to work with [director] Chris [Weitz]. It's been different with him because he has tremendous respect for the fact that something has come before. He now has to pay heed to the books and what Catherine [Hardwicke] did so hard to cultivate. He's done an amazing job of incorporating ideas almost seamlessly into what is what the fans are expecting and love."

'Twilight' Stars Lament The 'Unavoidable' Paparazzi

"It's kind of bizarre," Ashley Greene told us over the weekend, discussing the stalker-iffic photos that popped up all over the Web recently — some even dissecting their beverage selections as they began "New Moon" pre-production. "We would walk out of our hotel, and there would be people there taking pictures, and the [headline] would be, like, 'Jackson and Ashley Get Coffee!' It's new."

"It's funny. Edi and myself — because they have been up there and they have really been [following] us — we've been messing with them," Kellan Lutz said of recent pictures that include him taking photos of the photographers. "It's great; we have been doing some pranks on them. I can't really share any, but a lot of the pictures are planned."

Twilight DVD Bites Into Record Books

After selling over 3 million copies on its first day alone, the Twilight DVD made its way onto the record books as one of the top five best first-day DVD releases in the past two years. The Robert Pattinson adulators were out in full force Saturday for the highly anticipated midnight launch of the film's home video release, buying up more than 3 million copies of the special-edition double-disc on its first day alone.

Rachel Lefevre shows up at WalMart Store in Riverton

Rachelle Lefevre surprised the fans by showing up at the Walmart Riverton in Utah last night (March 20). According to KUTV news over 1,000 fans showed up to get their copy of the Twilight DVD and see the Twilight star.

Rachelle LeFevre, who said this was her first time in Utah, was overwhelmed by the show of fans and said she loved the Utah mountains and would be back to ski. The actress plays one of the villains in the movie which is the love story of a girl named Belle, who falls in love with Edward, who is a vampire. The movie has swept fans off their feet. The series of four books has also been hugely popular. WalMart store manager Scott Trudo said the DVD was expected to be the top seller for the store ever, surpassing the previous number one seller "The Passion of the Christ." The Riverton store alone pre-ordered five thousand copies of the movie. Trudo expected they would sell out.

LeFevre didn't arrive at the store until 10:30 p.m., but fans started lining up in the store at about 3:00 this afternoon. Danielle Peterson, who is in high school, said she's seen the movie 9 times. "I'm obsessed. Totally obsessed," she said. Her friend Tristin Ewing, who is 14, said "I've seen the move 3 times. I wish I'd seen it way more." Click here to read more.
